The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is the trade association for the UK’s community pharmacy owners and has virtually all community pharmacies in voluntary membership. The Association provides its members with professional and commercial support as well as representing the interests of community pharmacy in dialogue with Government both at a national and European level.

The NPA is headed by the Chief Executive and the Board comprising representatives of community pharmacy from across the United Kingdom.

Wake up to Winter – GMTV and NPA tell viewers – Ask Your Pharmacist

To coincide with Ask About Medicines Week commencing on 5th November 2007, the NPA have tied up with GMTV to promote the 'Ask Your Pharmacist' message.

The NPA 10 second sponsored piece will follow one of the eight different one minute editorial features which will air twice daily called "Wake up to winter" fronted by Dr Hilary Jones and nutritionist Amanda Hamilton.

This activity is forecasted to reach 4,576,000 adults including 1,004,400 mothers with children across the week.
