Service Development

As community pharmacy becomes more service driven – albeit with different approaches in each of the four countries – and the public becomes more aware of the extent of community pharmacy services, it makes sense to examine ways of developing your own range of services.

Many of you have responded to our request to let us know what services you currently provide and we will be promoting them on www.askyourpharmacist.co.uk. Other elements of the Ask Your Pharmacist campaign will fortify the message – and your display of the campaign posters will turn up the volume.

The NPA is also working to help you ‘make the case’ for a private or new service to become commissioned and, together with a range of written resources, the Professional Services team is on hand to give additional advice.
