Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacist

Trainee pharmacists who have successfully completed a 4 years Masters in Pharmacy undergraduate degree must undergo a 1 year pre-registration placement.

Pre-registration pharmacists are required to complete a 1 year pre-registration year in pharmacy and sit an exam before they can apply for registration with the RPSGB and call themselves a "Pharmacist".  It is good practice for pre-registration students to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to keep their knowledge up to date.  Refer to the www.uptodate.org.uk website to record your CPD.
